Overview
This archive records published nationwide support for parties contesting elections to the Riksdag. The long view helps distinguish poll movement from one survey, but government formation and cooperation agreements remain political outcomes rather than quantities inferred by the tracker.
Electoral system context
Sweden combines constituency seats with adjustment seats to produce broadly proportional national representation. Parties normally require four per cent nationally, with a constituency route also available, so a value close to eligibility can have a larger consequence than a similar change higher in the range.
Party and bloc rationale
The current local balance groups Left, Social Democrats, Greens and Centre against Liberals, Moderates, Christian Democrats and Sweden Democrats. The set reflects the declared period in the polling archive and is a Bismuth navigation aid, not an official coalition promise or universal ideology score.
Polling limitations
National polls do not resolve constituency allocation or guarantee how parties will cooperate after an election. House effects, threshold rounding and changes in party relationships matter, while historical definitions are used only inside their reviewed dates and source gaps break the series.
