Overview
This tracker records the published nationwide party-support series available for Iceland's 2021 parliamentary cycle. It remains a historical archive until a complete comparable source for a later cycle is reviewed, rather than presenting old observations as current polling.
Electoral system context
Members of the Althing are elected from multi-member constituencies with adjustment seats used to improve national proportionality. Parties need national support for adjustment-seat eligibility, while constituency results and candidate votes also affect representation.
Party and bloc rationale
The reviewed local balance groups Left-Green, Social Democratic and Socialist entries against Independence, Centre, Progressive, People's and Reform parties. Pirates and others remain outside. This is a time-bounded Bismuth aid for navigation, not an official coalition or universal ideology score.
Polling limitations
The current published snapshot ends in 2021 and must not be described as a live measure of later opinion. Iceland's small electorate and party field can make sampling movement pronounced, while national values do not reproduce constituency allocation, candidate votes or eventual coalition negotiations.
