Overview

This archive compiles published nationwide party support for Hungarian parliamentary elections. It keeps the pollster, fieldwork and reported party or alliance label attached to each row, rather than treating every opposition configuration as one permanent series.

Electoral system context

Hungary elects members through single-member constituencies and national party lists, with votes and compensation rules linking the two components. Thresholds differ for some joint lists, and constituency performance matters substantially, so national support is not a direct seat forecast.

Party and bloc rationale

The local balance groups TISZA and the listed opposition parties against Fidesz–KDNP and Our Homeland for the reviewed period; smaller or unaligned keys remain outside. This is Bismuth's campaign-navigation grouping, not an official alliance declaration or international ideology score.

Polling limitations

Polls may ask about parties separately or test negotiated joint lists, and public versus all-adult samples can produce different headline values. National data cannot capture constituency nominations or tactical coordination, while historic names, source gaps and missing values remain separate.
