Overview

This archive follows published nationwide support for parties contesting elections to the Riigikogu. It retains a broad historical party field, with current summary groupings restricted to a reviewed period rather than projected backward across reorganisations.

Electoral system context

Riigikogu seats are filled through a proportional system with district mandates and national compensation, using candidate votes and a national eligibility threshold. A party's geographic and candidate support can therefore matter in addition to its national polling percentage.

Party and bloc rationale

The local balance groups Social Democrats, Centre, Greens and the United Left entry against Isamaa, Reform, EKRE, Parempools and ERK. Estonia 200 and other lists remain outside. This is Bismuth's local navigation aid, not an official coalition label or cross-country ideology scale.

Polling limitations

Small parties near the threshold are sensitive to sample and rounding choices, and new parties or renamed lists can interrupt continuity. National polls do not reproduce district mandates, personal votes or coalition negotiations; missing source periods and values remain visibly unsupported.
