Overview

The tracker records nationwide support for the parties represented in Danish general-election polling. It keeps party series separate and uses the local balance only as a compact summary of the coalition groupings commonly used to navigate a Danish campaign.

Electoral system context

Denmark elects most members proportionally in multi-member constituencies and allocates compensatory seats to improve national proportionality. Eligibility can come through the national threshold or constituency routes, so a poll percentage is relevant to representation but is not itself a seat allocation.

Party and bloc rationale

The red grouping uses A, F, Ø, B and Å, while the blue grouping uses V, Æ, I, C, O and H for the covered period. These are time-bounded Bismuth groupings sourced to the published campaign table, not permanent ideological labels or a cross-country ranking.

Polling limitations

Small parties near eligibility routes are especially sensitive to sampling and rounding, and coalition intentions can change without a party's polling value changing. The available snapshot is an election-cycle archive, so it should not be read as uninterrupted evidence for periods where no comparable table is published.
